Chinese President Xi Jinping and Myanmar leader Aung San Suu Kyi have signed 33 major agreements. These include Myanmar’s participation in the One Belt-One Road project. This is the same agreement under which China will interfere in the Indian Ocean. This is China’s ambitious plan.
In fact, Chinese President Xi Jinping met with Myanmar counselor Aung San Suu Kyi on Saturday during his two-day visit to Myanmar. After this, Xi Jinping said that recently the national development of China and Myanmar has entered a new phase.
According to an IANS report, Chinfing said that we should plan and implement well in future for various areas of exchange and cooperation so that the Sino-Myanmar relationship can develop to a new destination.
In the discussion of China-Myanmar relationship, Xi Jinping offered four suggestions. First, both sides should do well to build the economic corridor and implement economic, business cooperation.
The construction of the China-Myanmar Economic Corridor is an important part of the construction of the belt and road. Both of them should start construction of this as soon as possible.
Second, the two countries should further develop projects such as roads, railroads and electricity nets by strengthening mutual contact.
Third, local cooperation should be intensified by expanding trade and investment. Fourth, deepening cultural exchanges should advance the public life, security and construction of infrastructure around the economic corridors.
