Hundreds of people are suspected to be officially affected by an unknown virus in China. 2 people have died due to this virus. In view of the threat of the virus.

Many country has issued a travel advisory for its citizens. The government told the countrymen that if someone is visiting China, they would take precaution.

This virus resembles SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome). Chinese officials had said that 41 people in the country were affected by this virus. A seafood market in Wuhan is the hub of this virus.

Scientists at Imperial College, London, in collaboration with the MRC Center for Global Infectious Diseases Analysis, published a research paper on Friday, stating that the number of people affected by the virus could be up to hundreds.

Scientists at the center said they estimated that the number of people affected by the virus in Wuhan by January 12 could be 1,723. In addition to China, two cases have been reported in Thailand and one in Japan, the researchers said.

Professor Neil Ferguson, involved in this research, told the BBC that three cases from Wuhan have been reported abroad, which means that there may be more cases than reported.
