The Witcher seems to have found a new location for filming in Season 2, or at least that’s what some of the new posts on social networks seem to be offering.
In particular, it seems that a medieval fantasy show is heading towards the coast of Scotland on the Isle of Skye, a place that has been used by many shows in the past.
How do we know that? Because recently there was a scout team with the show by Stephen Surjik, known for the episodes of Jessica Jones and Daredevil, with whom the show Lauren Hissrich was associated.
Now it’s unclear whether the place will make the final version or how many scenes it will receive if this happens, but the show at least watched the place.
According to Redanian Intelligence, an expert on witch issues, during their stay on the island the team deliberately stayed in the following places: Talisker beach, The Old Man of Storr, the Quiraing, and the Fairy Pools waterfall.
Again, who knows if anyone will get to the Island in the shooting of the second season, but we will not be surprised if this happens. In the end, this is a great place, and it is very easy to imagine that several of its parts serve as the backdrop for the show.
The Witcher is currently streaming exclusively on Netflix. Meanwhile, Season 2 is released sometime in 2021. For more news, rumors, leaks, media and TV adaptations, be sure to check out our previous and comprehensive coverage of the show by clicking here.
