The Indian Army will hold an exhibition on Monday to inform the general public about its weapons and equipment. The exhibition, to be held at the Pacific Mall at Tagore Garden, Delhi, will feature Bofors cannon, AK-47 rifle, night vision equipment, 130 mm cannon, etc.
This exhibition, organized three days before the 73rd Independence Day of the country, will not only give the people a chance to get to know and understand the army closely, but they will also be able to get the cannon and weapons as well as the army’s communication equipment, infantry guns, commando kits etc. There will also be an opportunity to have a closer look.
About two hundred officers and personnel of the army will also be present during the exhibition, who will give information about the weapons to the people as well as the methods of functioning of the army. The army will display its equipment and weapons through the stall.
Such an exhibition was earlier held at Shipra Mall in Ghaziabad. There people were given the opportunity to sit in cannon, touch weapons and wear army uniform. The main objective of this exhibition is to provide an opportunity to know and understand the Indian Army, to awaken the interest of the army and patriotism among the youth and inspire them towards the service of the country.
